Audition for Chorus Angelorum

Interested singers of all voice parts are asked to submit a resume and sound clip to be considered for an audition.  Applicants must have significant choral experience and an advanced understanding of music theory.  Second round auditions will take place in person. Applicants will be notified of specific audition dates and locations on an individual basis.

How to Apply

Please submit the following information to chorusangelorumchatt@gmail.com:

  1. Your musical resume - degrees, previous choral participation, other instrumental study

  2. A brief statement describing why you would be a good fit for Chorus Angelorum

  3. A sound clip, or video recording of a recently performed solo work

Second Round Audition Process

Auditions consist of:

​

  • Two prepared pieces of your choice, one in English and one in a foreign language. These pieces may be solos or drawn from choral literature. They may also be of any period or style. Showcasing vocal variety is encouraged. An accompanist will be provided.

  • Participation in a rehearsal with the full ensemble. 

    • One piece will be provided in advance to assess your ability to prepare independently​

    • One piece will be provided at the onset of the rehearsal to assess your ability to sight-read and learn as you go

  • A conversation with the Artistic Director and/or Managing Director about your experience and personal goals
